“We Give Back” Winner — January 2025

As part of Wiglesworth-Rindom’s “We Give Back” Charity Referral Program, Richard & Yolanda Guevara donated $500 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

St. Jude Children’s Hospital was founded in 1962 by Danny Thomas. He believed “no child should be denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.” St. Jude’s mission is to advance cures for pediatric diseases through research and treatment. It is the first and only National Cancer Center focused solely on children. It is the Guevara’s love for helping children that was the driving force in them selecting St. Jude for this donation.

Richard & Yolanda Guevara have celebrated 40 years of marriage and are blessed with four lovely daughters. Richard was born in Chicago and joined the navy. He started his career at the Post Office in Puerto Rico, where he met Yolanda. Eventually, he got transferred to the West Palm branch and has been residing in Florida for the last 20 years. In his free time, he enjoys baseball and pickleball.
