Community Outreach: Advance the Faith

At Wiglesworth-Rindom Insurance, our commitment to community service is a cornerstone of our values. We believe in making a positive impact in both our local area and the broader communities we serve. Those who are familiar with our agency, may be aware of our “We Give Back” Referral Program; this is just one way that we like to support our community. Our team is passionate about many different causes, and show their support however they can!

Since 2020, Annie has been volunteering with Advance the Faith, a non-profit organization based in Naples, Florida; their organization has been partnering with children’s homes in the Bahamas since 2009. Through this partnership, Advance the Faith is able to send these homes much needed resources, including: personal items, food, cleaning supplies and even assisting with maintenance and other projects.

Annie recently took part in a weeklong trip to these homes, which began on August 3rd. With the support of a generous local church, the team was able to stay on their campus and host a summer camp for children from two separate homes. The camp was designed to help high schoolers prepare for life after graduation, focusing on essential topics such as budgeting, relationships, responsibility, and entrepreneurship.

The experience had a profound impact on Annie and the children she served. One thing that made the experience so memorable was how the kids “showed love, respect, and kindness – even though we were total strangers!” Annie returned inspired and is already looking forward to future opportunities to engage with these wonderful kids.
