“We Give Back” Winner — July 2023

Marc & Donna Jay donated $500 to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital as part of Wiglesworth-Rindom’s “We Give Back” Charity Referral Program.

St. Jude Research Hospital was opened and founded by actor, Danny Thomas, in 1962 to help kids battle childhood cancer in Memphis, Tennessee. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital mission is “to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.” Since their opening, St. Jude’s has had remarkable success in helping develop unique treatments, that have pushed the overall childhood “cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%” since the hospitals’ opening in 1962. The patients’ families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. The organizations’ goal is to keep families focused on helping their children live & get healthy. St. Jude Research hospital follows, the founder Danny Thomas’, original vision, that “no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.”

Marc & Donna chose St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital because of the vital research they do in curing childhood cancer. They are honored to be able to donate to such a great cause.
