Our Loss, A Community’s Gain
By Mike Rindom, CEO of Wiglesworth-Rindom Insurance Agency
It is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to our colleague, Martin Del Villar.
Martin and his wife Holly have joined Place of Hope as Cottage Parents, overseeing the care of young ladies in their teenage years as they transition from foster care to life as independent young adults.
Through Place of Hope, Martin and Holly had previously provided a loving home as foster parents to a 2-year-old child. Wiglesworth-Rindom Insurance Agency and Place of Hope have had a long and wonderful relationship that started when Megan and Lee Wiglesworth fostered and later adopted two brothers through this charity that focuses on modern-day orphans.
Martin joined Wiglesworth-Rindom Insurance Agency in 2015. As an immigrant to the U.S. from Chile in 1996 and the eldest of five siblings, Martin’s life is one that genuinely revolves around putting the interest and needs of others before his own. Martin’s selflessness was always on full display in the office with the care he showed in servicing our clients, his willingness to help coworkers, and above all, in his random acts of kindness to strangers. Working with Martin has been both an inspiring and humbling experience.
We have been honored to have played a small part in Martin’s journey and to be alongside him during a few of life’s milestones: getting married, the birth of two beautiful daughters, and attaining U.S. Citizenship.
The entire team at Wiglesworth-Rindom strives to provide the level of service that Martin exemplifies in his daily life. Our team of 21 dedicated and experienced members are always available to assist with any insurance needs.
