Our August 2021 We Give Back Winner

Chad Rominger

Chad chose to donate $500 to Sofia’s Hope — a nonprofit that works to research and fight pediatric cancer while providing support for patients and their families. Chad says he wants to support Sofia’s Hope because of the good cause along with the outings for children and funding they contribute to cancer research.

Chad is from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; he moved for Florida in 2004 for a change in scenery and an escape from northern winters. He majored in occupational therapy at Ohio State. He was always interested in the medical field and decided to work as an occupational therapist because it’s “a great way to help people get their lives back.”

In his free time, Chad enjoys bicycling as well as traveling all over the country and seeing new places.

Sofia’s Hope

Sofia’s Hope, Inc. recognizes that in the fight against childhood cancer there have to be two simultaneous approaches. Research funding which will have a long term impact and the development of patient and family programs that support those going through the journey TODAY.
