“We Give Back” Winner — February 2022

Josh chose to donate $500 to Hospitality Helping Hands. This nonprofit works to help the hospitality community; through the COVID-19 pandemic, their efforts vary from providing hot meals three times a day, keeping food banks stocked, and even providing toys throughout the holiday season. As the owner of Ray’s Hideaway, Josh knows just how impactful and needed their services are. “They help the community any way they can. When hospitality workers were out of the job, Hospitality Helping Hands made sure displaced people in the industry were provided for.”

Josh is from Florida and got into the restaurant business when he started waiting tables in college. He then moved his way up in corporate and wanted to own a restaurant to do it his way. Ray’s Hideaway is known as the best brunch, lunch and dinner and Royal Palm with a  menu of wide variety. Ray’s Hideaway even hosts their own Giveback Night, where 20% of net sales will go toward your cause!

Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his 7-year-old son, Hayden. Together they find local events around their community — whether it’s going to local sporting events, movie nights, the park, or even special seasonal events like strawberry picking — they enjoy getting involved and supporting the community around them.

Hospitality Helping Hands

Hospitality Helping Hands is a nonprofit formed to help feed the hospitality workers, their families, local charities, and others in need due to the Coronavirus shutdown. Their mission is simple and directly impacts the local community. Employ hospitality professionals, open doors, feed the people.
